Modern design can be far from sterile, as this stainless-steel sugar and creamer set from Bodum illustrates. Highly polished with a sensuous curve, each piece begs to be picked up and cradled in the hand. Measuring 2-3/4 by 2-3/4 inches, the rotund sugar bowl holds 3/4-cup of sugar, while the 4-inch-high creamer holds 1-1/4 cups of liquid. A press-fit lid for each keeps contents from spilling: the creamer's lid with air hole is shaped to fit over the spout with just enough room to pour without removing, while an opening under the sugar's lid allows the accompanying sugar spoon to protrude. Double-sided with blunt ends, the stainless-steel spoon provides the option of a large or small scoop of sugar. Or, one end can be used to scoop, the other to stir. The double-walled construction means cream stays cooler longer. Designed by Bodum's creative genius Carsten Jorgensen, the set complements the Columbia line of bowls and thermal coffee and tea presses. --Ann Bieri

Nice But Not Brushed Silver March 10, 2008
This stainless steel sugar and creamer set looks nice and modern and it's a good price for two items. But I was dissapointed that it was not brushed stainless steel since the picture makes it look like it is. It acutally has a shiny mirror finish. If that's what you are looking for, then this is a good quality item.

Works well; certainly no design or product defects. Its one serving capacity makes its thermal holding feature meaningless.

Bodum Columbia Stainless-Steel Sugar and Creamer Set January 6, 2008
I purchased the coffee and creamer set for my wife (can't convince her to drink the good stuff black and hot). She said she loves how the creamer keeps the heavy cream ice cold. She also said the brown sugar stays soft in the sugar bowl for days. We both like the quality and art deco look and highly recommend the product.Bodum Columbia Stainless-Steel Sugar and Creamer Set

After seeing and using one of these at a friends house I was so impressed with the ease of use, ease to clean-up and great coffee. Like the other reviewers say - don't count on it keeping coffee hot for hours, its not designed to do that. It does make a great cup though.
