Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
As a little girl, Jane has no one. Her mother, the powerful head of a Broadway theater company, has no time for her. She does have one friend-a handsome, comforting, funny man named Michael-but only she can see him.

Years later, Jane is in her thirties and just as alone as ever. Then she meets Michael again-as handsome, smart and perfect as she remembers him to be. But not even Michael knows the reason they've really been reunited.

SUNDAYS AT TIFFANY'S is a love story with an irresistible twist, a novel about the child inside all of us-and the boundary-crossing power of love.

4 out of 5 stars sunday at tiffany's   July 22, 2008
Wonderful read! Great for summer! I always wonder about the imaginary characters that children sometimes find to chat and be friends. Seems like this one was real. It is a wonderful love story and I highly recommend it. B. Credle

3 out of 5 stars Quite the let down.....   July 21, 2008
I'm a huge James Patterson fan so I may have expected too much. As I read this book I kept thinking is this a children's book?! Don't get me wrong it was refreshing to read a book with no curse words or sex scenes but this story lacked humph! It kept my interest and had a lovely ending but it was almost too sugary. I agree with another reviewer in that the price was too high. The name James Patterson definitely draws a higher price tag but this book just wasn't worth it.

4 out of 5 stars a bit on the light side   July 20, 2008

I thought the imaginary friend concept was at least different. Other reviewers found it inplausible, maybe they have less imagination. It's a light summer read with some tear-jerking moments. Overall, I liked it because the premise was different.

This book took away an afternoon of my life that I will never get back. I usually enjoy books by this author, but this one was too far fetched. Imaginary friends are real and have homes? C'mon! I don't recommend this book at all.

I guess I'm a little confused. This is a book for grownups? A sweet little fantasy love story on the order of Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. But the plot, the characters and, most of all, the writing were so juvenile that it reminded me of books I read in junior high school. I know I come across as horrible to so many of you who loved this book but I have to warn the rest of you: I found myself groaning and rolling my eyes quite frequently - and wondering whether James and Gabrielle were secretly laughing at their pathetic readers and what they'll pay 14.95 for at Costco. Including me.
