Another attempt by desperate Christians to create a God in their own image because the one created six thousand years ago has been put to rest by science. You people need to get a life. Other than that, the book itself is written no better than a high school senior extended short story. If this book gives you comfort, inspiration, or hope, you are indeed in pitiful shape.

I not only enjoyed this book through laughter and tears, it made me analyze how I think of God in my everyday life. Definitely worth a read (or 3 or 4).

This book is simply endearing. It helps you understand God's great love for you in the midst of a tragedy. The book is insightful and challenging. I feel as though I understand God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in a way I never did before--especially how they relate to one another. I read it, bought five and sent at once to friends in pain. You will too.

The Shack May 14, 2008
Wow! What an awesome fictional account of how God moves in our world. I have never found such a wonderful and complete description about the Trinity and how they work together for the good of humans. The basis of the story also presents to us how God can heal even the deepest wounds of our souls and bring us into a loving, trust filled relationship with Him.
I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking answers regarding their spirituality.

I have suffered much loss in the last few years, and am looking for some comfort or at least some understanding of why things happen. In reading the reviews on this book I thought I finally found what I was looking for - WRONG. Didn't get it and seemed too far fetched. Things just don't work this way. So, if you are reaching out for some answers, comfort, etc., don't read this one. Sorry.
