Poor design January 11, 2007

I bought this for my father for Christmas this year because it seemed like a decent rack for a decent price. He was just looking for something to use in his basement. The instructions to assemble were photocopies and we could barely make out the instructions or pictures. The way you put this together has you trying to put in screws ant such an angle that it is almost impossible. We ended up predrilling holes so the installation was a little better but it was still painful. Once it was all together it had a side to side shifting problem. They do include support braces to fix this issue. The other problem now is that is shifts front to back so we aren't sure how to deal with this problem. All of the screws are in as tight as we can get them considering the angles they need to be installed at.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I was really considering just sending it back but my dad insisted on putting it together because I bought it for him for Christmas.

This wine rack was very difficult to put together. It said only a screwdriver was required, and really a drill should have been.

The screws provided were very cheap and stripped even with just a screwdriver. And the directions that came with were photocopies (and barely readable).

It looked nice when it was finally put together, but isn't the most sturdy of racks, and was not worth the frustration of putting it together.

It took to long to put together.. Very frustrating and when completed it isn't what I expected and was it was crooked. Not worth sending it back. I was too upset. Buy something already put together and spend the money.

There were many problems with this product:

1) The assembly instructions have been photocopied so many times that it was impossible to read and follow.

2) The pre-drilled holes were poorly done that it was so hard to screw the screws into the shelf (whether manually or with a drill). I ended up stripping the screws. ARG!

3) The quality of this product is far lower than what I had expected. I understand that photos can be misleading, but I felt incredibly duped with I opened the box. The color is incredibly flat, and the wood is very flimsy. I would be amazed if it actually could hold all the wine bottles that it says it can hold.

In summary, I could not recommend this product to anyone.
