I have given a brisker to all of my relatives and friends that are cooks. There is nothing better for keeping crackers crisp and salt flowing, especially during the more humid months. I live in the mountains of North Georgia and only use my air conditioner a few weeks out of the year. However, I never have to worry about stale crackers, chips, or soggy salt. Purchase this item and you will not be sorry!

I purchased this item April of 2004 and it is still doing a wonderful job of keeping crackers and other food items crisp and tasty. I live in north Florida and do not have the kitchen air conditioned nor heated. So I rely on this crisper to store my dry foods.

This is a fabulous kitchen helper if you live in humid climates. Keeps all your crispy food crispy! My mom had one for years and year, just finally replaced it and so glad it was just the same as ever.

My mother-in-law gave my wife and me a brisker soon after we were married nearly 30 years ago. We live in coastal North Carolina where there is a lot of humidity. While I was growing up, if you opened a box of crackers, if you did not eat them that day they were stale. I had never heard of a brisker before we got this one (My mother-in-law was a very smart and practical woman.). That 30 year old brisker is still going strong and crackers, chips, cereal last a long time, even during the most humid summers.

We've been a brisker family for 25 years. It keeps crackers and chips crisp for weeks after the packages are opened. Everyone thinks we're crazy but we give each other Briskers on significant birthdays and anniversarys. What once may have been a cutting edge technological advance now seems a bit old-school but we love it and can't believe nobody ever talks about how cool these things are.
