Awesome deal! June 24, 2008
This is a great deal for this mixer. We were shopping for a stand mixer for over a year now and this was the best deal. We received the metallic chrome, which is nearly $50 more just for the color everywhere we looked. The average price for this mixer (Artisan) is $329 - $369 and we refused to buy it if the price was above $300. We received this for $204 (wait for sales!). The product is great and what I expect from KitchenAid (this is what they do best). Make sure that you buy a mixer with a motor of 300- watts or better (this is a 325- watt) to make sure the motor does not burn out, which happened to a friend of mine. The shipping was also quick. Overall, a great buy!

I purchased my new Kitchen Aid Mixer with monies from my Stimulus Check. It was something I have been wanting for a very long time. I love it. The product is easy to use and easy to clean up. It is a little heavy, so I don't suggest storing it anywhere above your head or down to low.

This is my first stand mixer so I don't have much of a basis for comparison to others, but it works as advertised and does everything I need it to do quite well. Highly recommended.
