Bottom line: It's the best and I have no regrets.
I researched it on ConsumerReports (CR) and numerous other websites prior to making this purchase; I figured if anyone would truly know which is the best LCD, CR would. This one was considered the best for its size. There is a claimed issue that there is some sort of loss of color and visibility at the wider viewing angles (its only at the extreme angles but that makes sense) and that there was too much glare; once again I fail to see this as an issue especially compared to some other brands and I have no problems. The non-HD channels don't appear that great (look what you're comparing it to though) but the movies and HD channels are awesome and that's with my cable company only being able to support the 1080i (no 1080p) format.

This is a great TV. I looked around at a bunch of different ones. I almost got the W series Sony. This one was cheaper and has a better picture. Buying from Amazon.com was great. Free shipping on top of a great price. I figure I saves about $600.00. I recommend the Samsung and Amazon.

I have had a 4 1/2 year old samsung 50"dlp 1080i tv and comtemplated for a long time whether or not the 650 lcd would be that much better. I finally decided to go for it and hoped for the best. All I can say is WOW!!! Delivery was fast and courteous. TV performs better than I ever imagined. The picture is so life like. Definitely made the right decision. Blu ray dvd's pop out at you. Awesome TV!!!

Awesome TV. Shipped fast and was delivered in perfect condition! Make sure when you get the TV to call Samsung or read the manual about the 120Hz. You will need to adjust when you use the 120HZ. It's great for sports but if left on for normal programming, motion gets weird...almost slow-motion. Overall, extremely pleased. Great pic, crystal clear! Highly recommend!
