Great cooking October 17, 2005

One of my passions is cooking and this 7-qt casserole is excellent. Heat distribution is uniform allowing me to use lower heat settings for simmering stews and soups. Clean up is very easy. I recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook.

It stains very easily(Even water marks, when I boiled water for spagetti.)Everything sticks to it.It is not non-stick.I bought five of them and have given to my family they all say the same thing.I am Very very disapointed with this purchace.

Very roomy, Sturdy, and Substancial. October 11, 2005
Big enough for large family. Heats up very fast. Clean up is also easy. Of cause it wouldn't fit in the dishwasher, but I don't have to spend a lot of time scrubbing it. I use it for cooking roasts in the oven, and reduce the cooking time by 25%. It is also sturdy and substancial, not as thin as some previous reviews claimed.

I have purchased two of the 7-quart chef's casserole with lid and think it is the best thing since soup was invented. It wipes clean with NO scrubing even if you allow something to stick a little. I can make chilli or beef stew and be able to add every ingredient and still have about one inch left at the top. We am thrilled that we made this purchase.
