My husband is the grill master and insists on an accurate temperature reading for meats. We have tried several brands and this one is simply the best. It lasts longer and is consistently accurate.

Cooking thermometer May 8, 2008
I purchased this thermometer so I could tell when meat was sufficently cooked in my new InfraWave oven. It works great, very fast and accurate, shows 33 degrees in ice water, 206 degrees in boiling water (3100 feet). Only annoyance is the lack of on/off switch.

Does just what it should April 30, 2008
Although my first polder thermometer broke the first time I used it, this one seems to be more up to the challenge. Basic thermo and timer functions have been used with no complaints.

Easy and Accurate April 24, 2008
I have not had my probe thermometer for long but I have really enjoyed it thus far. I didn't need to read the instructions as the probe controls were very straight forward. And I couldn't be more pleased with the accuracy as I tested it against boiling water, taking into account altitude and barometric pressure, and found it to be within a degree of the calculated temperature.

Magnet holds it to my vent hood so it doesn't use any counter space. Probe cord is more than long enough to reach any where on stove top.
