4 out of 5 stars Thermometer and clock are great!   July 7, 2007
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

I bought this for my husband for Father's Day. We love the thermometer feature because it tells us both inside and outside temperature and humidity. The clock is also a wonderful feature. The forecaster though - has yet to be right. Many days it predicts rain in the next 12-24 hours and we are 88 and sunny. So, we pretty much ignore the forecaster part and use the thermometer and clock. For $20 it's a better deal than a $25 unit I bought in a store that only tells the temps. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again if I needed something like this!

4 out of 5 stars Good product good price good gift   July 7, 2007

I opened it up right away and it was very easy to setup and looks real nice for any spot in your house. The atomic clock took longer to get a signal than what the instructions said, but not a big deal. I use it daily to check the temp up stairs and outside. Very useful if you want to save money and open up the windows and turn off AC when it's cool enough outside. I can't give a good review regarding the forecaster though because where I have the sensor is not in clear view of the sky, and the instructions request a clear view. It's all good though...I basically just needed it for a thermometer anyway. The base also tells you full moon dates and what not. The only thing I would change on this item is allowing an option for AC/DC power for the base, which you can only use batteries. My old one had that option.

5 out of 5 stars Great weather station for the price   June 16, 2007

We really like this weather station. It has both indoor and outdoor temp and humidity (which was primary reason for purchase). The acrylic frame looks nice. I can't tell if humidity reason is super accurate, but its pretty close to the other readings we get from a downstairs weather setup. The time sync is very handy and ours updated in just a few minutes automatically. The outdoor sensor seems like it can be a distance away and still communicate with the base station. The weather forecast is fairly useless, but it does put a nice little icon on the screen.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad for the price   June 9, 2007

This forecaster was alittle difficult to configure and did not automatically obtain the time as another forecaster that I purchased at the same time.

4 out of 5 stars Everything good but the display is too small   May 21, 2007

No complain since it does its job as a weather station showing indoor, outdoor temperature and humidity and giving forecast. One possible improvement is the display of the atomic clock is small, I cannot get the time from a distance.
