3 out of 5 stars Not exactly as advertised   May 18, 2007

This is a fault of manufacturer, not the seller. The device depicted here and described is not exactly what it is in reality. The pressure reading (the actual value) is ABSENT! This was the reason I purchased this device!

3 levels of pressure, temperature and humidity trend indicators - not true! Only pressure has indicators, temperature and humidity DO NOT!

Otherwise as advertised. A little small, maybe. The numbers could also be larger, especially the temperature/humidity, and expecially the outdoor ones, which are quite small.

While it worked, it was great. Unfortunately, remote sensor only lasted 6 months.

I purchased 2 of these, used one as a gift. Fortunately, the gift product worked. The one I saved for myself did not work (the remote device apparently was defective). After communicating with Oregon Scientific, they gave me a RMA number to return the product, which I did at an additional expense of $4.00. That was a couple of weeks ago and I have received/heard nothing since.

4 out of 5 stars Nice little weather station   May 3, 2007

This is a very nice atomic clock + thermometer set. Its accurate(so I sync all my clocks with this unit), has the remote transmitter, and nicely priced. I've had it for a few months, and glanced at it every morning to monitor the outside temp in the comfort of my kitchen. I've had lots of compliments from friends and relatives, asking about this product. This will make a great Christmas gift, so I'm picking up a couple more when they go on sale again.

I would give it 5 stars, but the remote sensor seems to have developed a problem. I've changed the batteries after about 6 months, but I still can not get readings from the sensor. I'll try to reset everything and switch channels when I have some time.

4 out of 5 stars solid product   April 12, 2007

This product seems to work well at measuring temperature, humidity, and pressure. The remote is able to communicate with the main unit even through one interior and one exterior wall of our house. One minor problem is that it was not able to receive the atomic clock transmission, even though we live in a medium-sized city (I didn't look up the exact coverage areas for the transmission, though). Another issue is that the weather prediction is a bit sketchy. But it only claims to be about 70% accurate, so no big deal. Anyway, I'm satisfied that this product performs its core functions well, and it has been a useful addition to our household.
