We have a new born baby and we wanted to make sure his room was not too cold or too hot so we bought this temp meter to better keep track of the temp in his room. It works great. We also know when to plug in the humidifier if it gets too dry.

With the very dry seasons we have had, monitoring indoor humidity has become a necessity. With The Weather Channel WS-9410TWC Indoor Comfort Meter, I know when to turn on my cool mist humidifier and when to turn it off. I love the little smiley face when the humidity level is good and the little frowny face when the humidity level is not good. It's just what I needed!!

It's all I need - plain vanilla, and it works. Don't want all the bells and whistles. I'm going to buy another one for my music room to make sure my fiddle is happy.

I just picked this up from K-Mart for $7.00 on clearance.
I think that is just about what this thing is worth. The temperature seems fairly accurate but the humidity reading seems off. Is there a way to calibrate this thing?

I do like how large the numbers are and it kinda looks good hanging on the wall. If it only made coffee automatically......
