This device does what it is supposed to do as is fairly accurate for my purpose, which is monitoring temperature and RH in a storage room.

The product looks good and also works well. It does its whole purpose of displaying the temperature and humidity, and does it with pretty good accuracy. Nice looks and perfectly fits my room.

I wanted a device that could track the humidity level in the house over the winter months. Having a forced hot air furnace in my house, the air can get very dry quickly during our cold New England winters. When the furnace is running often I also run a humidifier and am able to controll the humidity level in the house to between 50% to 55% with ease which makes it comfortable. Without the meter I'd never really know for sure if I was under or over humidifying and now at a glance I know. Makes winter a bit more comfortable and that is worth the price to me.......

In this price range I don't expect scientific precision--just an idea of the conditions in my orchid growing area. This nice little unit has done just that. I like the max/min feature too, but wish it were integrated with a clock feature which showed the time of day these conditions occurred.

I'm back to buy another one for a different room.

After reading a lot of costomer reviews, I bought this item as a gift for my mother. After inserting the batteries, only parts of the digital display showed up. We tried several times to reset it and it did not work. I accidentally inserted the batteries the wrong way and it just burnt the circuit. Very cheap electronics! Save your money, don't buy this item.
