OPRAHS FLAT BOOK LIGHT SUCKS.. great theory but has way to many lines going through the reading light. Dont buy. Oprah should send me my shipping cost.

I have had a few booklights and this one is the best for paperbacks. The light is nice and bright and easy to use.

I purchased the paperback-book sized model. Upon opening the product, noticed the surface was already marred with splotches that do not come out. Also, as previous reviews state, the LightWedge scratches very easily. As for the light switch, the middle one does not work. For reading in bed, although the light is soothing, it is very uncomfortable to turn the page and readjust holding the device.

I was really hyped up when I learned of this product (on Oprah) and was going to buy both sizes at once. I am glad I did not. It's a good try, but not quite the perfect book light I was hoping for.

I love how the lightwedge lights up the page, even in the late afternoon when it's not totally dark in the room, but the battery connection is poor. As soon as I move the lightwedge onto the next page the batteries slide inside the compartment and lose the connection. I then have to shade the wedge side to side until it lights up again. This product would be perfect if it had a snugger fit for the batteries.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He can even use it to read in total darkness. It's great.
