5 out of 5 stars Donated all my other sharpeners   November 26, 2007

Furi Rachael Ray Ozitech Diamond Fingers Pro Knife Sharpener
This is the best and easiest knife sharpener I've ever used. I have some really nice Wusthof Grand Prix knives that have been in need of sharpening for a long time. I had tried several different knife sharpeners on them with no success. The Wusthof brand sharpener actually made them duller. I used this Furi sharpener on them and with just a few quick strokes, they were razor sharp.
I highly recommend this product.

This is the first time I've ever reviewed anything, but I have to do it. I am a knife freak with all of the accompanying sharpening paraphernalia; but this is the best I've ever used. Highly recommended, even though I can't stand Rachel Ray. My Christmas shopping is done!

5 out of 5 stars Nothing better   October 16, 2007

I've used sharpening stones, those little wheels with the stone in them, the drag through metal disk sharpeners....I could only get a sharp edge with the latter of these, but it always left a torn, and scratchy blade.

This is so fantastic! It sharpens and hones the blade to the perfect edge. I sharpened everything I own and now I will take my new little tool on the road. I'm going to go to my friend's houses and my mother-in-law's and sharpen all of their knives for them.

2 out of 5 stars Wear out too quick, Not worth the price   October 5, 2007

Diamond fingers wore out very quickly within a couple of months. The quality is very disappointing. Now almost all of diamond stuff is gone from the point whre most needed, and now it actually make my knif dull. Also my wife was able to tear off puny plastic cover on the side when she tried to open it on the first day.

I don't like the fact that Rachael Ray is cashing in, eighther. If you'd like a sharpener which will only last a few months of use, and would like to contribute Rachael's ever-growing account, buy this. I would like my money back from Rachael Ray. Good idea, poor quality.

4 out of 5 stars Sharp Sharpener   September 11, 2007

So I have some very dull high-end knives. I was all set to take them to get sharpened for about $15 per knife when I stumbled on this odd looking device. The price was low enough that I though why not. Low and behold it works. Me knives are sharp as new - even if this gadget wears out the cost is much less than a professional sharpening - I would say go for it
