I always buy top quality products that I expect will last me decades and provide top-notch performance. I have only had this blender for a couple of months, but from what I can gather, it sure feels like it will last long. The performance is excellent, smoothies are wonderful and soups come out HOT, though the soup-cycle is very long. It makes excellent frapuccinos too. It is loud, though not as loud as the Amazon reviews said it was before I bought it. Amazingly enough my toddler doesn't wake up when we use it.

This blender is phenominal. It'll grind up anything you can throw at it. We grind up wheat to make fresh whole wheat bread. Mmm! My wife likes to make veggie/fruit juices and we make baby food for our 6 month old. It's loud but the clean-up is extremely easy. You'll be happy with this blender.

I did a lot of research before choosing this blender. I love this blender. It has changed my daily routine. I use it almost every day. Sometimes several times a day. You can do so many things with it. My favorite is to make juices and smoothies. I love that I can get more nutrition with this blender than a juicer because it keeps in all the healthy fiber! Although for some vegetables, it wouldn't be so bad to have a juicer as well, sometimes its a little too much fiber. I definitely eat more fruits and veggies now that I have this blender. It's powerful (although once I had to send it back to the manufacturer after 6 months to get fixed, this was free except for the shipping, it's now back to full speed again). It's nice when you blend things and don't find chunks in the final product. I like the different cycles. I like that it turns off automatically. I like that it lifts off the motor easily. So many great things if I don't stop now I may be writing all day.

We purchased this Total Blender after reading so many unbelievably good reviews. Expensive little bugger but now, over a month later I have only one word for this blender...super, amazing, wow, and great. Then not even a week ago I watched a Blendtec video and in went a new iPhone. On blend mode the iPhone was turned INTO POWDER. No matter what the price you see..yes they are EXPENSIVE but I'll never use a 'normal' blender again. My Blendtec is great.
