5 out of 5 stars good multi-purpose grill   July 10, 2008
I bought this as I wanted to take a grill away with us for weekend and day trips also I wanted it big enough to have friends over as this would be our only grill.
It does both very well. Although the 100 is slightly smaller for carrying around in the car the q220 is a bigger grilling area and its not that much bigger for the car.
The grate is cast iron and is heavy but the quality of it being the same as big grills is such a plus, the side flaps fold into the grill for transport.

It does sear stuff well if you preheat and leave the hood down.
I bought the conversion kit for the back yard to have the big propane tank which is good and saves money when just grilling. I bought the portable stand as well and you wouldn't know it wasn't a 'proper' big grill.

The only negative is the hard to get very thin portable propane small tanks for traveling its hard to get and there is no reason why they couldn't have made it for the 16oz tank.

So pleased with it and the colour brightens it up would recommend it to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Q220 is just right.   June 13, 2008
Weber Q 220 Portable Propane Gas Barbecue, Red
This is the perfect grill for me. It's the right size. I can move it in easily for the winter. I like the thermometer to cook to temperature. It cleans up well and easily. I bought the stand that folds up and will roll the grill to
another place. That would be nice for tailgating or picnicing. Amazon's price was the best I found.

5 out of 5 stars The best for its size   June 9, 2008
I live in San Francisco in an appartment building. We have a small deck and lots of wind. This grill fits and cooks great. The wind has no effect and I highly reccomend it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   May 13, 2008
I have had several Grills in my life and this Q220 is by far the best. It's easy to start and heats up fast. The cooking is without flairups and the workmanship of the unit is up to the usual Weber high standards. I would recommend this unit and supplier to anyone.

4 out of 5 stars Cute little Weber.   April 15, 2008

We've cooked on it once so far. Love the size and look. Don't like the way the little tables will have to fold in on top of a dirty grill in order to get the weber vinyl cover on. When we first got it, the back and side burners only lit but not very high. Then we couldn't get the grill to re-ignite once we shut it off, even with a match. We had to call Weber who walked us through the whole lighting process. It still didn't work. They sent us a new regulator without directions for removing the old one and installing the new one. But the customer service was great. Then one person told us before we tried to change the regulator, rub the burner tube with a piece of wire scrub, slowly and lightly. I used the back of one of those kitchen sponges. It worked! Finally I got the burner to ignite without replacing the regulator. Hopefully, it will work again and again. First grilled food tasted great!
