This Vacuum Pump did not work

This product worked fairly well. About 80% of the time the bottles held their vacuum. The other 20%, well... the tops made a good cork. Unfortunately, after only about 20 uses, the pump broke while I was using it. The pressure from the vacuum pulled the plunger away from the handle. Since this piece in internal, there's no way to fix it, so it's basically trash now.

So... 4 points for how well it worked, but minus two for breaking.

Great seal, sweet case, save money, what more could you want? May 13, 2007
This pump has worked very well, I am very impressed and would gladly recommend this product to anyone. It holds a good seal for days and keeps my wine nice and tasty!

It also comes in a sweet case. Very worth the money, this was probably the cheapest one I could find, I assumed I would be returning it but it has worked great and I'm really glad I saved the money!!!

Metrokane Vacuum Pump January 12, 2007
This product works quite well since I purchased it. In fact, it seems to work better than the Metrokane Rabbit Lever Pump which I own. The "Save-the-Wine" pump seems hold the vacuum more effectively than the Rabbit Lever Pump. I'd recommend the "Save-the-Wine" over the Rabbit Lever Pump. Interesting that it works better, since it is considerably cheaper than the lever pump.

The product didn't work and wouldn't form a vacuum when I received it. Amazon promptly refunded my money.
