I bought this as a Father's Day gift and we used it to BBQ that evening. Told the temperature of our meat well but, in the confusion of the clean-up, it got wet. Ruined after its first outing! What a waste of money.

I have found the Taylor Prof. Digital Fork to be accurate and easy to use. Just finished eating a steak and it nailed it. MMMMMM Good.

We tried it many times and it never recorded the correct temperature. Cooking on a grill is best done by time and feel - experience is a better indicator than this product so says my wife.

This was quite a bit larger fork than I expected. Only the left tine has temperature sensing. The tines are really too big to use as a fork. As a temperature sensor, one probe would be adequate if you don't really fork meat with it. Works fine, though.

Right out of the box it won't register any temperature. I changed the battery thinking that the one that came with it might be low, but no dice. Great idea but obviously made very poorly. When I ordered it, I didn't notice that so many people had also had bad experiences with it. Next time, I'll pay more attention to the reviews!
