the plug on this model shot out when I was cooking millet and squash, something that should not have happened. I'm debating whether to get a replacement part or get a safer pressure cooker. One thing is for sure I won't buy a Presto.

After a little research and some attempts to find Spanish and German Pressure cookers that eventually were found to deliver insufficient pressure due to Chinese manufacture, I went back to the tried and tested Presto. Yes, maybe this item is now made in China but the original design still provides the necessary higher PSI that the farmed out European designs compromise on. I'm buying more for gifts.

This is the first Pressure cooker I bought. This cooker is excellent and quality is great. It cooks very quickly. I would recommend it.

It's been using for everyday. Nice product.
It seems to me that the cooker's wall is not as thick as I expected,
although it is working well so far.
