5 out of 5 stars How did we ever live without it?   July 21, 2008
I've had the GRP4P for over a year now, got it from Macy's on sale. What can I say about this grill that hasn't been said before?! Just fabulous! After a 2-hr commute back from work, all I do is switch it on, let it heat up, simply spray a bit of olive oil on the surface and lay my marinated, defrosted (sometimes not) chicken or steak or fish or burgers on it, and ---walk----a----way. 20 minutes (and 40 winks) later...dinner! Some of the nonstick has worn off at the edges of the bottom plate, but the Grill works as great as ever. Am deciding whether to give the old girl some rest and buy the bigger one with the 5 interchangeable plates. Have read some negative reviews on that on a home shopping site, regrding the fit of the top plate. But I'll probably buy from Macy's or Fortunoff again. How did we live before it?

I have had previous generations of this grill and love how they grill for indoors.

5 out of 5 stars A bachelor's best friend   June 26, 2008
Grill burgers, steaks, hot dogs, brauts, and more on this handy, easy to clean grill. The cooking plates are Teflon-coated, and are removable for fast and simple cleaning. Unfortunately, there is no ON/OFF switch provided on the unit, but you can purchase one at your local hardware store, Lowes, or Home Depot.

4 out of 5 stars Works pretty well   May 27, 2008
I got one of the original GF grills and used it about once (because it was SO hard to clean!). I still have it and I still haven't cleaned it. But I was looking for a way to cook hamburgers without making such a mess and came across this (updated) grill. I have used it 2 or more times/week since I got it and really like it! Being able to remove the plates to clean them is a MUST HAVE. Do not get one of the cheaper grills without removeable plates.

I've done chicken strips and hamburger so far. Do NOT get 93% lean beef. It turns to rubber. I usually get 85% (and 80% is ok too). I just bought some frozen patties and wonder how they'll do.

As some people said, use damp paper towels to wipe the grill off while it's still warm and clean up is easier.

I wish it had a temperature dial because I like my burgers charred and it doesn't quite get hot enough. I also wish it came with a second grease pan. But overall I like it alot.

Don't remove the grill plates and then close the unit with the grease still under the front! I did it and the front dipped all the way into the grease. yuck.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent product   May 8, 2008
I have been using a smaller George Foreman grill for a couple of years but wanted one with removable plates for easier cleaning.

This new grille works very well and is very convenient to clean since the plates can be removed and placed in the dish washer.

I am very satisfied with the product

Wesley
