Truly a well-thought out and well planned out product. Cooks eggs with profound accuracy using typical rate at which water converts to steam as its timer. Quite innovative. Cook everything you need for a great breafast sandwich and does so in record time. It even hard-cooks eggs to perfection. No more pots and pans to deal with. I love it.

Wow. What a great appliance. As a guy who has had a love affair with Egg McMuffins since they came out in the 70's, I can tell you that this is an amazing replacement for the Golden Arches.

As you've read here, this machine does exactly what it says - and well. The regular toaster is going up on e-bay. I don't need it anymore!

And cleanup is a breeze. Can you tell I love this thing?

Thanks Back to Basics for creating a gadget just for me!

I was skeptical. I got it for Christmas and figured it was going back to Amazon. But I tried it and it actually works. I've been using it for about a month now and it's great.

Earned a Permanent Place on the Counter January 18, 2006

Have limited space on my kitchen counters and have lots of kitchen appliances that have to be stored in the pantry until they are used. This one has earned a permanent place. I bought this a few months ago and have already bought several more as gifts. Whether I am fixing a breakfast sandwich, toasting one slice of bread or hard boiling eggs...the quality is always top notch. It is so versatile and easy to clean. Am very pleased with this product. I spoke with their customer service a few weeks ago to ask a question and they were very helpful. High marks for their help. They even shared that they are working on a new model that will allow even larger slices of bread.
Would give this item 10 stars if it was allowed.
