1 out of 5 stars Not good quality   January 4, 2008

I was expecting a good quality tea kettle. Instead I received a cheap, light weight "tingy" kettle. I am returning this one and will order a much heavier, better quality kettle.

5 out of 5 stars Great Value!   December 31, 2007
I was a little skeptical when I first ordered this teakettle for my wife but it was only $19.99, so I figured I would go with it. We were both surprised at the quality of the finish. It is very light weight but it works just fine, this is after using it about a week.

1 out of 5 stars Cheaply made, difficult to use   December 5, 2007

The whistling spout, instead of being attached by an easy to open hinge, is plugged in and secured by a spring clip, and difficult to remove. You have to wriggle it (while hot steam is coming out of it, mind you) to pull it ou t.This teakettle is flimsy. The handle bends and wobbles as you pick it up after boiling water. Mine broke right off after about a week's use. I did not go over the fill line, so it was within manufacturer's guidelines.

5 out of 5 stars good item   October 7, 2007
It's not as plush as the tea kettles you might get for more money, but it's great for the price!!! :)
