Bought one of these for my husband for Father's Day. It works well and cleans up great with the removable head. Our other less sanitary brushes seem to have disappeared, so I am ordering a couple more of Mario's!

I had been looking for a basting brush to use when grilling outdoors for a long time. I tried all different types. Most didn't clean very well and was ruined by the heat of the grill after a few uses.

This brush is like brand new after a few months of constant use. It withstands heat of the grill and washes perfectly in the dishwasher.

After unpacking the Mario Batali Silicone Basting Brush I was not sure how this could possibly do the job. Well, what a wonderful awakening. Its light weight, holds and spreads sauce evenly. I Love it.

Works great, whether you're applying BBQ sauce, oil, whatever. Very sanitary, too - not like the old style brushes that you could never clean properly.
