5 out of 5 stars Fun and Easy   July 15, 2007
Easy to use...Fast cleanup.
My 10 year old invented the "Tacadilla".
Taco meat, Black Olived and Cheese...We had a blast.

5 out of 5 stars Great little item   July 3, 2007
I saw this item used by a friend and decided I needed one. It came quickly and I used it while gone with daughters. Just fun. We had breakfast fixed on it--eggs, sausage, bacon and cheese. Very good. Also for dinner, taco meet, salsa and cheese. Plan to use it for many things.

3 out of 5 stars Hot spots in Quesadilla Maker   May 7, 2007

I recently ordered this at a great price and, despite the imperfection in it, it is worth having at that price. However, I was disappointed--and still am--that there is a persistent hot spot in the top half which causes the top of about 2-3 tortilla slices to brown unevenly and have a few dark, toasty spots. I always follow the directions faithfully (no more than 5 minutes cooking, oil it first, etc.), and this is clearly a true hot spot and not due to my own making. This leads me to question whether or not the great sale price was on a "second?"

5 out of 5 stars Make yourself a dang quesa-dilluh!   April 12, 2007

Napoleon Dynamite's grandma would be proud to own one of these! Works great. One little tip before you head to the grocery store... you must use the LARGE "burrito size" tortillas with this. If you try to use smaller tortillas like "taco size" or "fajita size," they won't extend out to the part of the grilling surface that seals the edges and your melting cheese will flow out the sides. The instructions say you must use a 10" diameter torilla. That's usually sold as "burrito size." I agree with Diane that an on/off switch would have been a nice feature, but it still works wonderfully.
