A steal at the price offered, but they quit lighting up after 2 days December 21, 2007
I bought 3 boxes (9 lights) to line my walkway. They are very cute and look fine during the daytime, but they quit holding a charge to light up after a few nights. Now only one or two light up at all at night. Maybe they just have bad batteries in them. I'll have to find out how expensive it will be to replace these solar rechargeable batteries. If I had bought these at a Brick and Mortar store, I'd be returning them. I just don't want to bother repackaging them and shipping them back to Amazon.

This is what I did. Edit: I want to give it 2 star right now December 18, 2007
I didn't try the included battery at all. I opened the cover on the top, took out the yellow battery, and put in a fully charged 2300mAh. It's still working fine after a few whole nights. So far, I'm very happy with them.
Edit:
after a few more nights, one of them doesn't lit anymore. Must be the battery not being charged by the solar board. I want to give it at 2 star right now.

I read the previous reviewer's comment that only one out of the three lights worked, and thought at this price even if only one works then it probably worth it. So my order came and only one out of the three works. How on earth did Amazon manage to make the quality control engineering thing work like a charm?

This is the second piece of Strathwood products I ordered from Amazon came in broken. Amazon should have stopped selling this brand altogether. Or at least make an effort to sell it under another made-up name, so that we could keep confidence on Amazon itself.

Editing on 3/12/2008: Well, last night when I glanced at the yard, all three lanterns lighted on. Seems it took a long time for the battery to charge on. If possible I would revive the review to 4 stars. My suggestion for new owners is: charge the battery in a regular charger after receiving the items. It should take care of itself from that point.

Cute, but they don't light November 30, 2007

Although these lights are cute as can be, 2 out of the 3 I got don't light up. After charging them for 10 hours, all three were lit up, but after under an hour of being lit, 2 of them went out. Disappointing.
