2 out of 5 stars Not sure I'd buy this again   September 21, 2007
This rib rack may be ok if you're smoking a lot of meat at once and need to create more space on the grill, but the ribs were hard to turn because they would get stuck in the rack. The ribs turned out great, though. In fact, they were the best ribs I've ever had, but that was the first time I've smoked ribs (on my Weber 2820 Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker). I'm going to try laying them flat to see if it makes any difference. If it doesn't, I won't use the rack again.

2 out of 5 stars OK for baby backs, but...   September 21, 2007

too flimsy for beef ribs or full racks of pork ribs. Slots are narrow, so have to alternate if ribs are thick. I usually have to use two side-by-side for full racks. Had a couple welds break as well. Buy something sturdier if you smoke full racks, you'll be glad you did.

When cooking ribs, it's important to use a low two-level fire. This can be tricky on smaller gas grills; there's never enough room on the "cool" side, and the grill stays too hot. This rack does the trick, makes it possible to slow-cook 3 full racks of ribs on one side of a Weber Genesis grill or larger.

5 out of 5 stars weber rib rack   July 13, 2007
i orderded two rib racks one for myself and one for my daughter. we are both very pleased with the rib racks. they are very easy to use. they clean up fast and easy. the keep the ribs seperated so that the smoke circulates around them very nicely and produces a very enjoyable meal. try one you will like it!

5 out of 5 stars Works like a charm   July 9, 2007

Used the rib rack for the first time this weekend. Cooked 4 big slabs of St Louis style ribs...each about 14 inches in length. The rack held them perfectly. Clean up was easy as well. Looks almost like new after almost 6 hours in the smoker.
