Compared to several can openers we've used over the past few years...this
one is a dream. It latches on nicely and is easy to turn. We love it and would recommend it to everyone.

Ok, I just put down the timer from this set because it's worthless and feeling bad for dissing it, I have to say this is the very best can opener I have ever used. We have them at every house and also in the RV because once you use this one all others will annoy you. It is sturdy, solid and really sharp and cuts through the can the very first time without much effort. Silly to think that something this obvious and simple will make a person so happy, but ok, it does. This quality matches up to what you expect from Kitchenaid.
