Worked well until it died September 29, 2008
I liked this toaster oven a lot, it made toast well, which is what I wanted. Then, after just over year, it just quit working. A repair place said the part (if they could even get it) would cost ~$100, so it's garbage now.

Great LITTLE oven/toaster September 29, 2008
This thing toasts bread perfectly! And it bakes very well, just very fast. I thought I would miss my old broiler oven, but this works just fine for all my countertop cooking. And the toast! Did I mention the toast??? Lighting fast, perfect golden toast. I have made chicken, fish, & garlic bread in this thing and all turned out great. My only complaint is that the inner compartment is very small. None of my little baking pans or muffin pans fit in it, but I guess its a bit of a trade off, for perfect toast.

After 2 years and 8 months of regular use, the top element has just burned out and I've ordered a new one. It's a very easy oven to use--great for defrosting and toasting bread or bagels and baking small dishes. I would have given it a 5 stars if it had made 3 years but I'm quite happy enough to get another one.

This toaster oven works well and saves time and energy when I use it instead of my stove's oven and it bakes small items faster because of the convection feature. The toaster works well with a little experimenting with different kinds of bread.
It is important to read the directions carefully. This oven gets very hot on the outside, so the 4" away from other objects is necessary. Also, pre heat the oven before using. I put in a large roll to warm and it caught fire because the top element was too close and I had not pre-heated the oven. I have not had this happen when the oven was pre-heated. It takes about 5 min to pre heat.
