Rockin' Rice, all day long June 9, 2008
I received this rice cooker for Mother's Day from my children. They like rice, so I guess it was fitting! It's a great machine. Cooks rice perfectly and then keeps it warm for hours. We will make rice during the day and the kids will come back later for a bowl of rice with milk and sugar for a snack. It is still warm and fluffy much later in the day. Love it!

I used it for 1.5 year June 8, 2008
I bought and used this product for 1.5 years. Has been benefited from various reviews of the various product of amazon, here I am trying to write down my feeling about the product based on my 1.5 usage.

cons:
1. when cook porridge, often the water runs out. so the cooker looks messy after sometime's usage
2. like the non-stick pan, the external skin get off.

Unreliable product, poor customer service June 4, 2008
I just used this rice cooker for nine months and it broke down. So I sent it to get it fixed. But now it is almost nine months, and I called the service department several times, every time they told me to wait for the callback from the factory, when they finish it. So far I haven't got any answer about the rice cooker. I don't think I will buy any product of this brand.

Good cooker May 30, 2008
I did not really feel the different of the rice that it made, but my wife really love it. She said it was much better than our previous electronic cooker.

The only problem is that the normal process takes a bit too long. Our previous cooker took around 20-30 minutes to cook, and this one take 45 minutes, so sometimes all the dishes have to wait for this cooker.
We got it from a lighting deal, so couldn't complain about the price.

Overall, get one if you can.

Safe to "splurge" on! May 27, 2008
Okay after much debate we finally made our decision. Glad we did. If you enjoy rice or would like to do so on a regular basis, try it out. No Smell!! I did exactly what another reviewer did; I washed the cooker real well with soap and water before using the first time. It has worked great every time. It is easy to clean and I really like the thick non-stick pot. Splurge and enjoy oh and don't forget to invite someone over for dinner.
