GLITTER, GLISTEN & GLOW! December 5, 2007
I love, love, love these glitter icicles! They are beautiful
and a great price for thirty-two. My husband and I try to
find one or two glittery ornaments for our tree each year.
Our rule is "if it doesn't glitter, it doesn't go on our
tree". I was so happy to find these earlier in the season.
If you like glittery things, I would highly recommend that
you buy these; they sparkle like diamonds!

Pleased with my purchase November 17, 2007
I am happy with the purchase of these ornaments! I didn't care whether they were made of glass or not, I bought them because I liked the way they looked. My only problem with them, which is "technically" not a problem, is that there is a little more glitter on them than I feel was necessary; hence, four stars instead of five (there wasn't an option for 4.5 stars).

I also like the hard plastic case that they came in; now I don't have to worry about what I'm going to store them in that will keep them from breaking. A "plus" for these ornaments was the fact that they came with hanging hooks; something that ornament manufacturers seem to have forgotten how to do. Including hanging hooks with ornaments is a little thing that makes a big difference, and I want to give many thanks to Department 56 for including the hanging hooks!

For the most part, I am very pleased with these ornaments; and would recommend them to anyone. Even if they weren't made of glass (which I think mine are), I would have still purchased them.

These ornaments are NOT made from glass as the description indicates. They are plastic and covered in mostly pink glitter. They certainly do not weigh 1 pound either.
