A kind friend gave us these...for some very special occassion, I do not recall. I was less than enthusiastic about them when I received them. However, we find ourselves using them every time we open a bottle of white wine. It's very convenient for getting your wine chilled quickly or keeping it chilled after opening, we use it mostly for keeping an open bottle cool. Having two in the freezer at all time is very convenient for comparing two different bottles of wine. Very light weight and compact to keep in the freezer. I also use them as ice packs for my kids when they have a boo boo. They can be cleaned with a clorox wipe. I highly recommend them.

This works great for white wine. Red wine should definitely not be chilled. Guy's are is certainly chilling. Speaking of art have you seen Guy's web site at www.guybuffet.com ? Anyhow, back to chilling some vodka...

I keep two of these in my freezer at all times! When I'm ready to chill down a bottle of wine for dinner, I slip the frozen sleeve around the bottle, pop it all into the freezer for 10 minutes, and presto! Perfectly chilled wine in no time. The Wine Chiller also works great to keep an open bottle chilled while sitting on the table. These also make great gifts for wine lovers! I also highly recommend the Vacu Vin Concerto wine saver system.

Works as advertised. Within 5 to 10 minutes of putting the chiller around a bottle of chardonnay, the wine was pleasantly cool enough to drink. It kept the wine cool as well. The design is cute, and it takes up very little space in our freezer.

This is an okay product, it didn't get my white wine nearly cold enough. You might get the same results or better if you put your bottle of wine in a cooler with ice and water.
