Best Calphalon Deal out there!!! April 3, 2008
I stumbled onto this fantastic deal a few weeks ago (supposedly a one day sale, although I see they are still offered for the price I purchased them for today). I've wanted this set of pans for as long as I can remember and this sale was too good to pass up. I replaced my set of Calphalon Everyday pans (little bumps on inside bottom of pans) and could not be happier! I was amazed at the browning quality offered! Can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic deal ($498 set for $149!!!!!). Worth every penny and then some!

Heavy Duty And Durable March 22, 2008
I read other reviews before purchasing this product I find that it is the best way to see if products are junk. I found this Calphalon 9 set to be extremely well made and durable. I have had this set a few months and they look the same as when it came out of the box. I even use them to bake in the oven. I prefer heavy duty well made and can take a beating and these pots and pans can take it.

The Calphalon Commercial Hard Anodized 9-Piece Set is a cooks dream come true. My only regret is that they weren't available 25 yrs ago.

Great pans February 22, 2008

I love the original Calphalon (as opposed to the new non-stick or OneInfused lines). I don't think Calphalon makes the original any more, so I was glad to get this set (and the price was right, too).

Note: Calphalon isn't for everyone. It doesn't go in the dishwasher, and the pans are probably too heavy for people with limited hand/arm strength. Also, it's not non-stick cookware (a plus in my opinion).

Other than that, I highly recommend these pans and plan to use this set for decades to come. Not only are they great to cook with, but they look good hanging from the pot rack, too.

I read other reviews before purchasing this product, and I was concerned if my partner would be able to cook on these pans, as he is used to the nonstick variety. I got these pans because I wanted a set that would brown food beautifully, deglaze for sauces, and also be able to go into the oven (for pork chops, etc.) They are performing wonderfully! I LOVE these pans! I do cook professionally. However, you have to know how to use these pans, so please read some of the reviews, and also the instructions that come with the pans. You can also check the website. We ended up purchasing a Calphalon non-stick pan for omlettes (my partner couldn't figure it out on this pan). I think most non-pro's or impatient cooks might be happier with the non-stock variety. But if you're willing to try this set, or want to advance your cooking skills, this set is great!
