I was too quick to really appreciate these. They take a while to get used to but once you do you will find out they have good qualities. They will brown food unlike anything but cast iron. They are not a non-stick surface but once they are broken in are not that bad. I would give them 4 stars if I could change it.

I really like these pans. They are solid cookware and seem to heat evenly, which really helps my cooking results. I like that metal utensils are an option with these pans, although I still use predominantly nylon and hardwood out of habit.

I've had issues with food sticking a bit, and it seems to take a bit more cleaning than I'm used to. I have wished one of the set lids would work on the 12" omelet pan. Still and all, I'm happy with the product and feel like it was a good value. Amazon's price was terrific.

Ok, so I'm kind of a disaster in the kitchen. I've ruined pans of all types and prices -- stainless steel, cast iron, enamel, glass, and non-stick... From $50 a set to $400.

I was nervous about buying this set, even though it was a fantastic price. I thought I'd end up with a couple workhorses and a bunch of pans that never got used. Two years later, we use every single one of these pans regularly, even the tiny frying pan.

I was also worried that everything would stick horribly to these pans, and that they'd scratch or rust out or stain. Over all, the hard anodized aluminum way out-performs anything I've ever used. Yeah, sure, food sticks if I don't use enough fat, but at least I can easily clean up mistakes with a scrubby pad (once I had to use a little BonAmi, too). And frankly, that extra dollop of fat is delicious.

It's like the Calphalon set that fell off the truck. If the name means that much to you, have at it. If you are looking for quality product, look elsewhere.
