Incredibly STRONG and WELL worth double this price! December 9, 2007

Dont you hate it when some people create multiple fake reviews like some for this product? They could, at least, change their stories. These glasses and all in this series are great. They stand up to a lot of punishment in my office. After about a year of constant dishwashing, mixing hot and cold drinks with metal spoons, a few drops onto lino.....NO MARKS, NO CRACKS and ABSOLUTELY NO BREAKAGE! Invest in a few of these great glasses!

Theses glasses are way kool very lite when I opened the box the felt like plastic had to do the ting - ting test to see if it was really glass it is! (hand blown) Also no more costers they do not sweat cause of the double layer( how kool is that) Am buying more to finish the set, GREAT GLASSES!!!

The glases have great style, and don't leave rings on the furniture. Amazon was terrific,too, about replacing one set that arrived broken. I had the replacements the same day I mailed back the defective ones. Way to go!

Remarkable Glassware September 29, 2007

Bodum glassware turns heads. I took one of these glasses to work in order to reduce my global footprint. I now use this glass instead of the company-provided styrofoam cups. Not only do I get a larger glass of water, the ice lasts so much longer too. Not to mention that it looks better on my desk. Everyone asks about it. Too bad Bodum hasn't figured out a way to make them less expensive. If it hadn't been for an Amazon reward, I probably would not have purchased these glasses. They are very nice but I'll probably cry if I ever break one!

The glasses are wonderful, delightfully thin and light, delicious on the lips, a pleasure to hold. One caveat: we live in the desert, and with lots of ice in the drink, the glass were unable to maintain their ability to withstand condensation. Most often, however, they work very well. I am extremely pleased with them. NOTE: These glasses are tall and the bottoms are small, so they can be tipped over easily. I would consider this a tiny design flaw, but since they one the design award, what the heck do I know?
