Decent Product/Good Price June 7, 2008
Overall, it is a decent product and purchased at a good price. Functions as I expected. The quality of the screen is much better than I expected, but the screen size is not big enough. I wish I would have purchased a larger screen size. My wife now has it for her office......she loves it.

I bought two Philips digital frames, one for my wife and one for my mother. I thought they would be simple to set up but I was wrong. The frame connects to a USB port in order to transfer pictures from the PC's hard drive. I found that the frame did not like the USB 2.0 ports on my PC and would only work when connected to the 1.1 ports. The software that comes with the frame is buggy and caused different problems with my computer after the first installation.
After finally getting the frame to be recognized by Windows, I loaded 20 pictures on it. However, only two of them showed up after I tried to view them on the device.
To be fair, I have not yet tried using a memory card to transfer pics nor have I contacted Philips about these issues.

Best frame that you could ever have!! June 5, 2008
This is the best Digital frame that I could ever have!. Having found a deal in Amazon, for $49.99 in Mother's day, this is by far the best steal.The pictures are clear,crisp and concise.I wanted a frame that was small enough just to serve the purpose and this product is best for it.But if you are concerned about magnifying the image, I advise that you get a bigger frame.
Philips being a reputed brand,I hope it will last long.Otherwise, the features such a Collage creation, automatic Portrait/Landscape rotation are great!!

It is a totally a good product for any technical geek! and go for it when it is on sale for sure!

Great for the Price June 5, 2008
I bought this for a Mother's Day gift and it has worked flawlessly. It was a great sale price and my wife really enjoys it. The timer is a nice addition becuase it will automatically turn on and off at the time you determine. So you can set it and forget it. Plus it has a plethora of transitions between pictures that you can choose from, very good product.

I got this for my wife to have pictures of our new baby in her office at work. I had received a no-name brand digital frame for christmas, and have enjoyed having it on my desk at work. Now I am jealous of the one I bought for her. The picture quality is no comparison, the Phillips is perfect. And it also has a collage feature; every so often in your slideshow, you can have a collage of several pictures come up. It has a neat feature like the iphone, when you turn it to vertical position, it reorients the picture.

The only thing I wish could be better is that you could set it so your slideshow automatically starts when you turn it on. You have to go through several menus and figure out how to use the buttons right just to get it started. But I would definitely get one of these again for the picture quality.
