Disappointing that the beaters are so cheaply made. The wisk end is press fit into the shaft. The beater was already loose when I recieved the mixer. I can only hope that this was done intentionally to prevent damage to the mixer.

Fortunately, my workplace has the ability to do stainless steel welding. I'm going to ask for a replacement set and sell them on Ebay. The demand is going to be high for them!

A great addition to kitchen tools. When you do not want that big bulky status symbol cluttering your cabinets, try its offspring. The hand mixer is by far a more convenient tool. It has good consistent power and just clean its beaters and store away.

Just what you'd expect from KitchenAid... A high-quality product! I love the 3 lower speeds... no splatter or flour dust spray. Beaters clean up easily and mixer is comfortable and light to hold.

This is a great mixer. I love to bake. I've had my mixer for years and it gets used all the time. So when our daughter was getting married and didn't have a mixer of course we bought her one just like mine. I highly recommend it!

The slow start speed prevents splashing material. That feature alone is the most desireable. Also the electrical speed setting and torque control make this mixer a very easy appliance to use. So far I have found no bad features.
