Stupid thing is ridiculously slow! I had another dial thermometer that I felt was slow, and after reading the reviews, I thought that I would buy this one. But it is even slower than my old one! Takes more than a minute for the reading to stabilize!

This little thermometer is great! I use it to test the water temp when i'm making bread... it is small but easy to read. It even gets the air temp perfectly right when not in use.

Love it. Uncomplicated, reliable, cheap, no batteries. My kind of gadget. Neat little food preparation, mechanic's, or marital aid.

I bought it knowing that it was an analog thermometer. It works, seems to be quite accurate, but is very very slow. If I could do it again, I'd buy the instant digital model.
