I finally purchased my first Fiesta. I choose the cinnabar. I do like how the dishes seem to be able to handle everyday clanging of loading the dishwasher and stacking in the cabinet. I'm not afraid to "handle" my dishes. They do seem tough. However I have only had mine for about 3 months and they are noticeably scratched up from silverware usage. Even my mother-in-law commented on how they looked. Maybe a lighter color would not be so noticeable.

Thi sis a nicely put together set and I like it a lot but the color is cornflower blue, not periwinkle. Periwinkle has a touch of lavender in it, this does not at all! So if you are expecting periwinkle, go with another color!

This dishware has held up extremely well. I had it for three years (through two moves), and only broke two dinner plates and one cup handle. It's sturdy - it felt a bit heavy to me at first, but I quickly got used to that. It is priced reasonably, and this dishware has served my busy, growing family quite well.
