5 out of 5 stars I love my juicer   September 19, 2007

I got my juicer as a gift almost four years ago. I have used it frequently and I love it as much as the day I got it. I read all sorts of bad reviews for this particular machine, and noticed that many of them were complaining about wet pulp and chunks of not-so-juiced fruits and veggies. I really don't think that any juicer that is not made for commercial use is going to give you one container of foam-free sparkling juice and another container of saw dust. This is the best juicer that I have found and if you are going to be picky about damp pulp, not being able to fit 5" apples into a 3" chute, and noise as loud as a vacuum cleaner, you need to chill out or design it yourself. This machine is easy to clean, sturdy, efficient, powerful and durable ~ the best juicer for the money.

I have only owned two juicers in my lifetime, so take that into consideration while reading this review. If you are looking for power and convenience this is the juicer for you. It can juice anything, and the quality of the juice that flows out is gorgeous. A good way to differentiate between good quality and bad quality juicers, so some people have told me, is to juice spinach. If it can juice it without producing a slimy substance, with little foam, it passes the high quality standard. With this juicer I can juice a whole bundle of spinach in a couple seconds with no problems at all, and it is completely liquid.

The best part about the juice, though, is that it literally takes about three minutes to clean. Very convenient.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Machine   May 26, 2007

I got the Breville and am asounded by its simplicity to use and clean. I've been juicing about every other day and have had no problems. There is some prep work, especially larger sized fruits and vegetables, but it's minor. It takes me about 3 minutes to clean it up. I throw the very dry pulp (along with my coffee and tea grounds)out in my flower beds for the birds and worms to feast on. One day I plan to use the pulp in my cooking. For now, the birds and worms can have a feast and I enjoy the juices freshly made!

5 out of 5 stars Powerful, Quality Juice Extractor   May 22, 2007

This machine is not a flimsy plastic juicer that you worry about whether a carrot will break the mechanism. No, this thing is a power house. It sounds like an airplane taking off and takes a good while to stop once you turn it off.

Very simple to use, fairly easy to clean, it does not make a mess. The juice strainer is very thick (high quality) and it seems built to last. It has no problem getting through fruit or vegetable I've thrown its way and the juice is great (good volume and no pulp gets through).
