Not overly impressed March 28, 2008
I owned this vacuum for 18 months. Had to replace the fresh water tank within the first 6 months due to a leaky gasket. Two months ago, the water would just start running through the tank, as though I had the trigger pulled. Brought into the local Bissell authorized dealer. They took it apart and said the problem was unrepairable. I thought they were trying to pull one over on me, until they asked me to pick up all the parts...as they werent in the disposal business. When it operated, it worked OK on the wood floor, but I'm skeptical about buying another Bissell.

Still seeing streaks March 22, 2008
I have had this unit for a bit over a year, and I try not to use it too often. I have tried both the brush and the pads, but still get streaks. If I want to rid of the streaks I have to go over an area with a towel to help prevent them. I have laminate floors, have used it with and without the laminate floor cleaner. If anyone has a trick to this, let me know.

I love this product. I bought it for my wife off amazon about four months ago. I read some of the bad reviews about it on amazon and asked my wife if she had had any similar complaints. She had nothing but good to say about it. I decided to see for myself. Our house is mostly tile so I really got a good chance to see how it works. I have to say I have nothing but good to say about it. It has plenty of suction power on the dry vacume side, and on the wet side it picks up the water just fine. If you use the brush instead of the pads it really cleans the grout very good. The proof is in the recovery tank you can see everything you picked up. I would recomend this product to anyone.

this sucks.... err doesn't suck December 16, 2007
this vacuum can't pick up a cheerio of the tile floor. I'm NOT talking about one that's stuck to the floor either. In fact it doesn't pick up much of anything. The flip it - is a joke - not like youi can just switch back and for. you have to change parts. It doesn't even seem to want to pick the water back up very well when using the wet side. Basically useless except as a big ole paperwait. Personally I don't have a desk that big! Serious waste of money. Hope to exchange it.
