4 out of 5 stars Love it!!   June 14, 2007

It's great. I use it frequently and it does a wonderful job. You DO have to follow the manufactorer's instructions of cleaning it after each use (wet or dry) to avoid clogs.

very easy to use, my 10 year old son loves to do the floor with it, it does take more time to clean because of the small cleaning surface

I like this machine, although its not very heavy duty and you have to do a lot of physical scrubbing with the machine itself to get the floor clean. I do like not having to lug a mop bucket around and then find a place to empty it, after cleaning the floors with either the brush attachment or the easy clean soft head, you just empty the dirty water and you are done. I also love the fact that you can take the head off and wash and reuse. It's great!!! I'd say a good buy for the money, don't do much with the vacuum side, Im not really sure the purpose for that, but I don't want to suck up stuff in the same side as my cleaning fluid. Does great for small jobs, but not recommended for large amount of flooring.

Here are some hints for people that had problems:

Make sure you read the directions (not meant to be sarcastic, but there is a method to this madness! :) )
When in wet mode, you use the trigger when you push it, and release it when you pull it back toward you.
I used the brush for my tile floors so it would get into the crevices (instead of the mop pad, which is meant for hard wood floors so it doesn't scratch it)
Go slowly in wet mode .... it distributes the water more evenly when you go slow and sucks it up better, too.
We all know this thing isn't heavy duty. Vacuum with a regular vacuum first if your floor has alot of loose dirt ... .. then dry vac again with the flip it and it will pick up little crumbs you didn't even see.

I noticed in wet mode, it picks up more water on a flatter tile surface (like a porcelain tile) than it does on a tile with crevices.

Rinse the dirt tank well after every use. If you think mixing dry vacced stuff with dirty water is gross, then empty after dry vaccing and before wet vaccing (before you "flip").

The wet vac will get your tile/porcelain floors clean .... you can tell by the dirty water tank. I can't speak for the wood floors as I have none.

Also, this is NOT for carpets (the dry vac). It's a hard floor cleaner.

Also do not confuse this product with the "Flip Ease" ... they are two completely different products.

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than mopping.

We have all hard wood floors in our house and we have a dog so we are always vacumning. The first time we used the flip-it, it clogged and we had to clean the filter. It's just okay, I'm not really satisfied. The one thing I do like about it though is for washing the floors. That works well.
