Beautiful, but very, very, very delicate! March 25, 2005

Just as the first reviewer indicated, these glasses are not packaged very well by the manufacturer. To make matters worse, they are made of very, very, very thin, weak glass. The larger the glass, the greater the chance it will arrive broken. I'll be giving mine away as gifts, if they last long enough.

I bought these glasses and thought I would have to wait a month for them to come in stock. I didn't they came about 2 weeks after I ordered them. They are great! I have some of the plastic cheap type and used them all the time. When I saw that Bodum had the real glass I thought they would look much better then my plastic that is getting to look bad. These glasses will not sweat so you can sit them on a table without a coaster. I love using them for icecream too! Go into the dishwasher great!
One down side in the shipping process. One set was broken. They don't package them good at all in shipping. Have to send one back and cross fingers for the next set not to be busted up!
