WONDERFUL September 29, 2005
I had a really nice down comforter that my husband and I just loved. However, it didn't take long to discover that I was allergic to it. Heartbroken, I got rid of it. I decided to try this down alternitive comforter, not really expecting it to be as wonderful. We love it!!! I haven't had it long enough to get through winter with it yet, but so far, we are really impressed. With rising heating costs, I'm thinking of ordering one for my daughter too.

We love this comforter! It is even nicer than we had hoped - light, incredibly fluffy and super soft. The creamy white cover and edging are beautifully stitched. After trying many types of comforters (including very expensive down - which stank and gave us allergy problems) we are thrilled with this item. I ordered on a Monday and received the package on Thursday - that's what I call great service! I highly recommend!

This item has just the right weight, warmth, softness, and squishiness. I never get sweaty or feel like I'm overheating. The fill does not shift so I don't have to shake it everyday. I think it's a high quality item that I hope will last a long long time. I did not wash it yet so I do not know how it handles a washing but the description says it is machine washable. I immediately put it into an amazingly soft cotton cover (Divatex 300-count cotten duvet cover) that is also a complete pleasure and fit the comforter perfectly. I don't have allergies but the fact that it is hypoallergenic, resists odor and bacteria, and is all naturall is all a plus. I may buy another one for a gift or for guests or just because I think it's a delight.

Toasty Warm and Super Squishy October 19, 2004
I have very bad seasonal allergies and last year had to get rid of my down comforter. I thought this time I'd try a down-alternative comforter, rather than just going back to the plain old type of comforter, which never seems warm enough. I liked the sound of this one because it's so environment-friendly.

I've slept with this comforter on my bed for a week now and it is so toasty! It really insulates you well, though I never feel the least bit sweaty or uncomfortable. Plus, it looks great on the bed! The filling of the comforter is quite a bit stiffer than down, so it is easier to put into the duvet cover, plus it looks more uniform on the bed--no lumps here and there. It is quite puffy and gives the bed an inviting, squishy look. I've had absolutely no allergy troubles with this comforter and overall like it as well as or better than the down comforter I had to get rid of.
