1 out of 5 stars Died just after warranty expired   July 10, 2007

This blender worked fine until I owned it for 14 months. Then it suddenly died. No warning at all. I did not use it all that much, either. I won't buy this brand again.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT BLENDER!   July 9, 2007

I was looking for an alternative to a Waring bar blender when I stumbled across a review from Cook's Illustrated. They tested this blender among high-end blenders from Waring ($129) and Viking ($139), among others, and this one came out on top. It is great to operate and the triangular carafe is awesome for pouring. The simple knob for controlling mixing speed is simple to operate and the power to crush ice is more than adequate.

4 out of 5 stars Great all purpose blender   July 8, 2007
If you are looking for a good all around blender for a decent price, take a serious look at this blender. It has a lot of power and it was rated number one on consumer reports. I am plenty satisfied.

3 out of 5 stars After 1 year   July 5, 2007

It's Okay, I probably won't buy this brand again. My blender or maybe it's the blades, it just doesn't seem to crush, blend, or chop the ingredients as well as consumer reports reported. Marty

4 out of 5 stars Better than some   July 5, 2007
of the reviews led me to think. The plastic body doesn't bother me at all & I am very pleased with the ease in assembly. It's also easy to clean.

All in all, I would recommend ,it to everyone who needs an updated blender as I did.
