I bought this Blender because of positive reviews in a major cooking magazine. The blade stopped turning within 6 months. I got a replacement part by driving 35 miles to the only repair facility in the area. I had to take the entire blender with me. Now, within less than a year from purchase, the blender won't even turn on. This blender was only used, perhaps two dozen times.

"Cooks Illustrated" had a nice review of this blender and after reading other reviews decided to try it... we had just "pitched" a cheap one after 1 use so did not want to waste any more money. So far this one is living up to what I have read.

This a top of the line blender for functionality...not so much for aesthetics. That being said...buy it. It is great. It makes excellent smoothies, drinks, etc. Much better the the $100 Cuisinart I bought and had to return.

Excellent blender - easy to use, easy to clean. The best part is that if you like frozen drinks, it blends the ice to a fine, uniform texture that is absolutely PERFECT!

Love this blender. Pours well from three sides, cleans up nicely and mixes thoroughly. This purchase from Amazon came as advertised in less time than advertised.
