5 out of 5 stars The best Grill there is.   January 2, 2008

I've bought this grill a year ago and it works great. it is easy to operate & clean. With 280 square inch total cooking area, 12,000 BTU-per-hour input and cast-iron cooking grate it makes this baby a BIG one.
also has a Removable drip tray that easy your cleaning.
overoll...... the best in market !!!!

5 out of 5 stars LOOOOVE IT!   December 17, 2007

This was a birthday gift to me, but the boyfriend has taken over as the grill-master ever since (a diabolical plan on my part). The grill is super-efficient -- heats up fast, cooks evenly, and doesn't take up too much space on our small balcony. A friend purchased a small metal "smoker" box that you can stuff with mesquite chips to add extra grilling flavor -- awesome! I would recommend this grill to anyone, especially apartment dwellers like us with limited outdoor space.

if you ever have to call Weber customer service you are in trouble. They employ the nicest sounding, most polite people on the face of the earth but they are clueless.
They are worse than the the strictest script reading overseas CSR's because they are convinced that you are stupid and the key to your intellectual salvation lies on the scripted response sheet they have in front of them.
If you have mechanical or engineering experience that indicates what they are telling you might be wrong, well you are just a silly man!!

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   December 7, 2007

This is a great grill and perfect for anyone look for a portable grill. I have the hose adapter and the cart, and it works great as a standalone grill as well. If you have the adapter hose, remember to leave your cylinder on for about a minute before trying to turn on the grill. This allows the regulator to settle for the tank.

5 out of 5 stars Weber Q grille   November 3, 2007

Have used at least twice a week for over 2 years (all cooking for 4 weeks after Hurricane Rita), and does exactly what it says. This is not a gourmet grill, with only one burner control/zone, but is great for burgers, steaks and the like. This is first gas grill I have owned, and use is like another burner on the stove--just turn it on, throw on a steak, cook and serve. Turkeys and crown racks-of-lamb still done indirectly on the old charcoal weber, but these are for special occassions which warrant the greater time/effort.

Clean-up is a bit difficult, expecially keeping the burner holes clean, but dis-assembly is easy. Cast-iron grill is nice, but can deteriorate over time, so plan on replacement of that in 2-3 years unless you are meticulous about cleaning (I am not, and mine sits out exposed to weather).

This grill is truely portable, if that is your inclination; I purchased the cart and 20# tank adapter, but do keep a portable bottle around for those times when the big tank runs out, and change-over is quick and simple.
