Bring this gem in the pool enclosurer June 28, 2007
This is just what my wife wanted. She now can cook inside the lanai. no longer the walk to the grill. We brought it inside.We don't think about weather or sesason anymore.

I love it. I have one in Montana and couldn't find one here in Washington. You guys were so good, when I got the first one with a broken leg, you got right back to me and sent me a UPS return lable, mailed the new one the same day. I sent the bad one back the same day that I received it.

Consider the Weber 100 before purchase June 18, 2007

I bought this for my mother in law, who wanted a small grill, not necessarily a protable one. Although it is a quality product, if you want portability, the 100, which we have, is much smaller and easier to take along, and can still cook 8-10 burgers at once. Another consideration is the size of the grate. It is all one piece and heavy, and difficult to put it a sink to clean it. Even the grates on my Weber Silver are smaller than the one on this. I am sure Grandma will enjoy this grill, but I wish I would have gotten her the smaller one.

This item was purchased partly because of the excellent review in Consumer's Report. I will agree with their report. The grill does a fantastic job of doing what it's supposed to do. It cooks evenly and rapidly. I have used it for pork chops, hamburgers and various sausages. All turned out well. I intend to use it for camping but I have only used it at home thus far. For home use, I use the 20-pound propane tank adapter hose which also works well. When using this adapter, one must remember to WAIT 1-MINUTE after turning on the tank valve before attempting to light the grill - a minor inconvenience. The portable cart (sold separately) holds the grill adequately and folds for easy transportation of the grill. I highly recommend these products.
