These don't last long enough. I thought each one could be used with several quarts of water, but they are good ONLY ONE TIME. Very diappointing.

This product was delivered fast and was cheaper than other stores. These chargers are hard to find, so I was glad to have ordered it through amazon.

Well, at 79 cents per charger (which provides 1 liter of soda), it works out that it costs exactly twice as much as buying a 2 liter bottle of club soda from our local supermarket (80 cents). That ignores the $5.58 per pack of 10 shipping and handling charge.

I called Isi to find a local retailer, and the customer service rep promised me that 'Linens and Things' routinely stocked them. A very helpful assistant at my local store had never heard of the items, and nor had the store computer she used to try to look up the item.

So, it's not even worth giving the Isi soda syphon to goodwill, as a likely recipient will be worse off than if they buy club soda in an unlikely to be recycled PET 2 liter bottle.

Note to self: Another good idea that didn't work out.

The water from the ISI charger is not quite as fizzy as the bottled selzer that I buy but we like it just as well. Also, I like the idea that I'm not contributing more plastic waste - even if we do faithfully recycle. I'm sure that there is someone, somewhere, that would argue that producing the chargers also takes energy but they are sure cheaper to transport than bottles of water being carried by big trucks.

These chargers made the whipped cream taste very strange, indeed. We went to the hardware store and got the generic for the same price and it tasted fine!!
