HARD TO RESIST... BUT RESIST YOU MUST... February 17, 2008

I fell in love with these cups the first time I held them in my hands.
With piping hot coffee suspened in beautiful clear glass, I was mesmerized. So began my ill fated love affair with these glasses. In space of few months I went through 6 of them. Yup...SIX...urgh!!!
I couldn't resist. Even when they broke into little pieces at every bump or ill fated couple inches of drop in my sink, I had to get another set.
Nothing kept my hot drinks longer than these beauties...even now I keep them in my amazon cart and feel the flutter in my heart that longs to hold them again...I must resist...I must resist...

I really like these. They are very cute, and great for coffee. It's really nice to see the different shades of coffee in them. I didn't give them the full 5 stars because I found them hard to keep clean/streak free.

I love these glasses for drinks on ice. They stay cold much longer, don't chill your hand, and don't sweat. Negative points for being incredibly light and probably fragile. The thick lip is noticeable when drinking, but wasn't unpleasant.

Stunning - a must for design aficionados. January 12, 2008
These glasses are nothing short of stunning. They never cease to amaze guests and make memorable gifts. They are made from relatively thin glass, and appear fragile, but we have 8 and have broken only 1 in a two years of use. The thin wall is part of the functional insulation as it prevents heat transfer. Despite the warnings of fragility, I regularly put these in the dishwasher, although I should note that the single breakage occurred in the dishwashing machine. They look great with tea, particularly the colorful fruit infusions my wife likes. We've given 8 sets away as gifts and they have always been well received. I wouldn't use these with children or bang them around, but otherwise I have found them sturdier than I had assumed from the negative reviews. If you are a fan of modern design these are a must.

Double walled glasses January 9, 2008
I like the glasses very much. We have been using double walled plastic glasses for years because they keep drinks cold and don't sweat. These glasses are not quite as effective in preventing all sweating, but they are much better looking, comfortable to hold and, unlike plactic glasses, are dishwasher safe. I used borosilicate glass in a laboratory setting for many years and am delighted to find that it is now available in products designed for the home.
